3 ways YOU can extend your Summer.

I remember my elementary through high school Summers, they were HOT & full of fun.  Afternoons spent in the pool, rollerblading & playing handball.  Warm Summer nights in front of the building playing tag, or better, catch & kiss ;-)

As I got older, the activities changed &, unfortunately, so has the weather.  Especially this year, it felt more like a long Spring with a few hot days, than a Summer with a few cool nights.  I made the best of it, as I'm sure you did, but I wish we could have More Summer :-)

I'm not sure if we're going to have anymore "Nothing On" weather this Summer, but here's 3 ways YOU can extend your Summer.

WATCH the Music Video NOW!

1. WEEKENDS

Whether or not you're going back to school in a week or two, there's a different feeling in the air already, but that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy your weekends like it's the middle of July.  There may not be any life guards on the beach soon, but you can still go lay out with some friends or take a dip, or maybe just enjoy the board walk from now through September, as long as it doesn't rain...lol  If you prefer dry land, have a picnic or a weekly gathering at the park.  Anything...

...as long as it still has a Summer theme, your Summer will feel that much longer.

2. LABOR DAY WEEKEND

You don't have to go away for Labor Day Weekend, but no matter where you're at, do something out of the norm.  This is sort of the last big hurrah before Summer starts to officially wind down, so make it a weekend to remember!  Go to a theme park, if you haven't had a chance this Summer, or go sky diving (not for me...lol) Anything...

...just something different!

3. OCTOBER GETAWAY

Once Halloween comes, you know Summer is a thing of the past.  But if you can afford to getaway for a weekend, or better yet a week in October, DO IT!!!  I did this for a few years in a row, & let me tell you, it is perfect timing.  By October, the gloominess of Fall is already settling in.  So dodge that bullet with a warm vacation, one last dose of that natural vitamin D & I promise you, you'll return better than ever; The rest of 2014 will go by fast (thanks to the Holiday season), &...

...you'll be that much closer to Summer 2015.

If you have any other suggestions, please share in the comment section & enjoy the rest of your Summer.

Until next Tuesday,

P.S.
