Though I’m a musician at heart, creating art is what I love to do — whether it’s audio, visual, physical, and/or experiential. And as Steve Jobs once said, “…the only way to do great work is to love what you do.”

As a music artist I’ve traveled the world and performed in front of thousands as Papi Shank, The Urban Latin Pop Sensation. But it’s the integrated marketing communications specialist in me that spearheaded the campaigns, which resulted in domestic and international tours, as well as mainstream radio airplay. Still, though I have over 10 years of real world experience in web and traditional marketing communications, and integrated campaigns, I wanted to broaden my horizons.

Why "SEXTRO?"

After taking such a long break from the music scene, I knew when I returned it had to be with something different. I mean, that's what I'm known for, being different. Well, that and most of my music having a sexual undertone. ;-) Being different has been a gift and a curse (I've had lots of DJs congratulate me on creating my own lane, but then tell me they don't play my music because they don't know where my songs fit in since I don't follow the trends.) but that's never stopped me before. So when DJ SANiTY and Kapo approached me about remixing an experimental track (Latin House, Electro, Moombahton, Twerk, and Trap [Sexy EDM]) titled "SEXTRO," I didn't hesitate — after all, I am #MrRmX, it was different and clearly about sex...lol

Can You Take It?

Listen to "Can You Take It" and the first thing you'll hear me say is "Dance with me." Those three words sum up the theme of the song, but not the entire message.

Have you ever been at a party and someone caught your eye? Better yet, you noticed that you caught their eye as well? What did you do? What did you want to do? Did you feel like their eyes were calling you? Did you answer? You know that dancing is a form of foreplay right? Well me, I love foreplay.
