The SUM of Both Worlds

     Those of you whom have been following my music career, watching or listening to my interviews etc., have heard me use the phrase "The SUM of Both Worlds".  I've been using this phrase to describe my style & sound since I was 17 years old. 
Initially, this was because I considered myself a Hip Hop & R&B artist so those were the two worlds I was referring to.  Ironically, a few years later, Jay-Z & R Kelly released an album titled "The Best of Both Worlds" (Hip Hop & R&B) which only solidified my beliefs that I could release an album like that on my own, 2 genres, 1 artist, The SUM of Both Worlds.  Unfortunately, the industry wasn't ready for such an artist, though Lauren Hill proved it could be done with her iconic album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill", I was told to choose a genre.  I refused to conform & so certain doors were closed because those with the power to make things happen were hesitant, scared to take the risk; afraid that I would be perceived as "confused" or that the public wouldn't accept a Hispanic rapper/singer.  This my friends is the reason why I went to college for music.  I knew I was going to have to do it & make it on my own.  Fast forward a few years & I've released multiple mixtapes, music videos, a collaboration album ("Log On" vol.1) & have toured the east coast as well as Spain, doing just that, rapping & singing, & I did it on my own!
     Now the time has come for me to finally release my 1st solo studio album!  That's right, 2 months from today, on MY B-DAY, October 18th I'll be releasing the 1st installment of my solo album "The SUM of Both Worlds" (lyricist & vocalist as I now lend my voice to all genres).  Yes, I said "1st installment",  I'll explain that in more detail soon, I just wanted to officially announce the release date.  I'm so excited & I hope you all are too...P.S.
